Apply for home to school travel assistance

This form should be used to apply for home to school travel assistance.

If your child is currently receiving travel assistance from Haringey, you don't need to make an application for travel assistance every year. You will only need to complete an application if one (or more) of the following applies to your child:

• the child doesn't currently receive travel assistance but needs it (new application)
• the child has changed home address
• the child has changed the school they attend
• the child is moving from nursery school to primary school
• the child is moving from primary school to secondary school
• the child is 16+ and moving to a new school or college, or remaining at the same school

Applications for travel assistance are assessed against the eligibility criteria outlined in Haringey's home to school travel assistance policy (opens in new window).
If agreed, we may provide assistance in any of the following ways:

• Independent travel training training and/ or travel buddy
• Personal Transport Budget
• Space on a suitable vehicle

Additional important information:
It may take up to 30 days to process a completed application form. If assistance is provided, please note that it is reviewed regularly and is subject to change.
