Do you know a Haringey Hero?
Haringey Heroes is back after a brilliant campaign celebrating our 60th year as a London Borough last year.
This year we want to celebrate even more incredible contributions made to life in the borough by residents, community groups, voluntary organisations and businesses.
Do you know a person or organisation that is making a difference in our community? It could be a volunteer, local business, community organisation, resident?s group, or a person who just makes a real difference.
This year we have a list of categories that recognises the full range of Haringey Heroes, including a new business category - the Hospitality Business of the Year - to celebrate this thriving sector and its contribution to making Haringey a vibrant and exciting destination.
If you do not know the name of the person you want to nominate - someone like a street sweeper, or shop owner etc. - please give us as much detail as possible and we'll try our best to track them down to sing their praises!

Each nomination must be for one person or one organisation. Self-nomination is permitted.
Nominations will be shortlisted by a judging panel chaired by the Mayor of Haringey, Cllr Ahmed Mahbub. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend the awards ceremony where the winners will be announced. We will ask for your contact details ad those of your Hero (if known) so we can follow up and extend invites to shortlisted Heroes.
Nominations close at Midnight on Sunday 18 January 2026.
